Like the spirit in the casks, warehousemen have a different pace from the rest of the distillery staff. You have to be patient when you are waiting for the Bunnahabhain, it takes more than just time to make the gentle taste. As Donald will tell you, you can improve spirit in good casks but a bad cask will ruin a good run. So he and 'Long' John check all of the casks coming in and out before a drop of liquid goes near them.
After the wood is checked and the cask filled, Donald locks the door and you can thank him for keeping every last drop safe until it is ready to be drunk.
