Our Warehouse 9 Collection
When you enter through the doors of warehouse 9 at Bunnahabhain Distillery, it’s like being transported to another world. Surrounded by hundreds of casks maturing our beautiful whisky, you can smell the aroma of sweet sherry, hear the distant sounds of the distillery working away and the gentle lapping of waves on Bunnahabhain Bay. And then, silence, as a cask is opened, ready to be tasted.
Our Warehouse 9 is an exquisite collection of rare Bunnahabhain whiskies taken straight from the cask at our distillery on Islay. All the whiskies in this collection are single cask releases and hand-bottled at cask strength. Not all whiskies can stand up to this, however, we have found it really enhances our spirit, showcasing the rich, complex, sweet and unpeated characteristics of our single malt.
Exclusive to the distillery, these small batch bottlings offer you a chance to really explore Bunnahabhain. Warehouse 9 is the playground for our Master Distiller and Master Blender, allowing them to experiment with new casks and techniques for finishing and maturing our whisky. You never know, you might just find your new favourite Bunnahabhain...
